Manages the manufacturing process in Assembly and Paint by directing staff to produce quality products within time and cost constraints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Promotes and maintains safe work behaviors and organization in assembly areas (6S)
  • Executes Assembly and Paint production plan
  • Develops Assembly and Paint operations to improve productivity
  • Drives on time delivery to the customer
  • Ensures product quality and reduces scrap and rework
  • Communicates regularly with Assembly and Paint departments
  • Achieves financial objectives
  • Supports internal and external customer service
  • Manages staff respectfully
  • Leads the continuous improvement effort

Knowledge, skills and/or abilities:




  • ERP (InforM3 preferred)
  • Vault preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPt, Outlook)

Education and/or Experience:                                            

  • BS in Business/Engineering or equivalent experience required
  • Vocational or technical training preferred
  • *Associate’s degree or vocational or technical school degree preferred
  • Experience with analyzing job results and planning workflow
  • 5-8 years of experience

*5 to 7 years supervisory experience may substitute for some of the above educational requirements.
